SUMMARY:Dare to Meet - In the Middle of All
DESCRIPTION:link to registration here  \nWHAT: A 3-day experiential seminar for all who work (and live) with people — leaders\, facilitators\, coaches\, creatives\, changemakers\, and curious humans. \nIt is a space to slow down\, turn inwardly\, and explore how clarity\, stability\, and groundedness can arise when we dare to meet conflict — within ourselves and around us — instead of avoiding it. \nPrior experience with Deep Democracy not needed and also welcomed. \nWhat is this seminar for ? And why do we call it Deep Democracy Lab?\nPolarisation is shaping our times — in public discourse\, organisations\, teams\, families\, and within ourselves. \nPositions harden.\nListening becomes difficult.\nAnd conversations often turn into either–or dynamics. \nThis Lab is an invitation to explore facilitation as a relational practice: not as neutral moderation\, but as the ability to stay present\, express voices clearly\, and support dialogue between polarities. \nBy working with live situations\, you’ll experience how tension itself can become a resource — creating understanding\, movement\, and unexpected alliances. \nThis is about developing the capacity to stand in the middle\, or on one of the sides with awareness and to facilitate conversations where difference is not smoothed over\, but consciously brought into relationship. \nWhat we will explore\nIn this experiential seminar\, you will: \n\nlearn to notice body signals and inner reactions in moments of tension or confrontation\nexplore how your personal history influences how you deal with conflict\, power\, and authority\ndiscover recurring patterns in your life — and why certain situations feel especially charged\nexperiment with your own natural way of facilitating instead of following rigid techniques\nexperience how misunderstanding\, friction\, and escalation can become doorways to dialogue and transformation\n\nWe move fluidly between inner work\, relationship dynamics\, and group processes — learning directly from what unfolds in the room.\n Real experiences. Real questions. Real learning. \nFacilitators\nAnna Gabryjelska-Basiuk \nProcesswork Diplomat\, Systemic Mediator\, OD Consultant\, B.ONFIRE Partner\, faculty member of the Polish Processwork Institute\, and co-founder of Processwork Institute Lithuania. For over 13 years\, she has supported leaders and teams in navigating conflict\, power\, and change with awareness and integrity. \nStephanie Bachmair \nProcesswork Diplomat\, Leadership Coach & Content Creator\, founder of B.ONFIRE. She works with changemakers\, teams\, and organisations navigating uncertainty\, transforming narratives\, and shaping new individual and collective stories. Initiator of Worldwork Journalism and host of Pioneer Spirit & Mainstream Thoughts. \nRegistration: https://www.b-onfire.com/events/dare-to-meet?ss_source=sscampaigns&ss_campaign_id=69428d8e348c195b8217059d&ss_campaign_name=In+the+Middle+of+All&ss_campaign_sent_date=2026-01-07T18%3A40%3A15Z

SUMMARY:Join me\, be With me\, Follow me: Navigating with people in altered states
DESCRIPTION:2-day in person experiential Process Work seminar in Oslo \nFor caregivers at home or at work\, special education teachers\,  social care practitioners and clinicians\, and their leanring and professional guides \nAt times many of us in the actual interaction with a client or student  struggle to get inside the state of mind and lived experience of a person with intellectual\, developmental and neurological differences. This person may communicate\, move and make sense of the world in non-traditional ways that are like a foreign country to their assistant/helper\, teacher or therapist.  “I have compassion fatigue” “he is defiant” “she’s just plain lazy”\, “they are manipulative” “He’s doing it deliberately to upset me” “I cant work with this person any more” are common place frustrations. \nAnd then: \nAm I being over directive? (tendency towards coercion). Am I being under-engaged? (Tendency towards neglect). These are inner debates that many of us grapple with constantly. \nSuch inner disturbances are common place and are rarely solved in the long term by getting more pay\, more hours\, resolving to have more patience …. \nWe will decode well-known social norms ( illusive identity and cultural ghosts) that limit creative thinking and systemic solutions by creating resistance. Resistance provides a counter force to grow innate powers in order to: \nJoin me. Hear me. See me. Follow me. Follow With Me.  \nThis seminar introduces three main ideas from Mindell’s Process Work to shift the energy from stuck to flow. \n1) Altered states are experiences that fall outside the norm of behaviours that are generally agreed upon as acceptable in particular cultural group. \n2) City Shadows are the unseen dynamics in urban life—the fears\, biases\, and discomforts that surface when people with different abilities\, behaviours\, or states of mind move through public spaces\, revealing what a city includes\, excludes\, or prefers not to see. \n3) Process unfolding to: \nTRACK feedback signals to de-escalate frustration and misunderstandings \nAGILE ROLE ROTATION to switch from what you “know” to jump across and right inside the person’s deepest motivation on their own terms \nGO SLOW to travel down to the core beauty and inner GPS of the person hidden within the difficulty \nBRIDGE personal and collective divides to break open into new directions and side-by-side opportunities \n4) Interaction metaskiils  \nMATCH your energetic tone and movement with the person’s energetic vibration \nDROP CONTENT and righteousness to make space for something totally unexpected to drop in – a drop of magic that has the power to grow new capabilities and dissolve resistance. \nTake-home tools  \nSeminar participants will experience tools and approaches that are as benefical for the person’s flourishing and their on – when in concert\, the shared garden can flourish in new and surprising ways. We will practice various skills you can take with you and use immediately: \nWho is this geared for?  \n * Diversity of Process Work experience – newcomers welcome\,  qualified Process Workers welcome and everything in between.\n* Diversity of practitioners: caregivers\, social workers\, clinicians etc working with individuals\, teams and systems – and already have an interest/orientation in expanded way of seeing the beauty and talent trying to emerge within a difficult situation AND are excited to learn to track signal based ways of connecting with what is actually happening.\n\nMay especially be beneficial for teachers\, therapists\, coaches\, support workers\, social workers\, health care practitioners – their learning guides and leaders – seeking a more wholesome\,  human centred approach to challenging situations.\nWHEN? \nSaturday 31 January + Sunday 1 February 2026\n \nSaturday: 10am – 5pm\nSunday 10am – 4pm \n \nLight refreshments provided. There are nice relaxing spaces around if you want to bring your own lunch\, and plenty of cafes and eateries in the surroundings.\n\nWHERE? \n\nSeminar Venue: Rudolf Steiner University College in Oslo – Gamma Room \nProfessor Dahls gate 30\, 0260 Oslo \n\n\nThe seminar venue is in down town Oslo\, in a beautiful leafy part of the city. It is safe and easy walking.\n\nFrom the airport \n \nAt Gardemoen International airport the train leaves right beneath the exit\, and it’s about a 40 minute train ride into Oslo\, to National Theatre station. From there a 20 minute walk to the venue. On the way you’ll pass by hotels\, through parks\, the palace\, gorgeous architecture\, shops\, cafes etc.  Everything is in easy walking distance.\nACCOMODATION IN OSLO \nYou can find hotels and Airbnb’s in the district\, in walking distance of the venue. We are able to offer limited free accommodation thanks to a local participant who lives in an intentional community\, not far from downtown Oslo. \nTUITION  \n\nEarly bird AUD $390.00 up to 15 December \nStandard AUD 440.00 Earns above global north minimum wage\nNon Profit Organisation NGO rate – $380 per person when organisation sends a team (2 or more)\nConcession AUD $340.00 for full time registered students in a higher/further education/ institute and pensioners\n\n Tuition scholarships available for Global South Process Work students. SUMMARY:Parallel Worlds – Which one are you living in? Open Forum free event
DESCRIPTION:Parallel Worlds – Which one are you living in?\nBeyond the comfort of agreement lies a world of different voices—join us for an open exploration of the tensions\, hopes\, and hurdles that define our meetings with ‘the other’.\nRegistration:  \nhttps://www.b-onfire.com/shop/p/parallel-worlds-which-one-are-you-living-in  \nPrice: €0.00 \nDescription:  \nWhen meeting works — and when it doesn’t | A Deep Democracy–moderated Open Forum \nWe live side by side and still in very different worlds. Different experiences\, opinions\, fears and hopes — shaped by gender\, generation\, background\, social milieus and lived experience. Sometimes these worlds barely touch. Sometimes they collide. \nThis facilitated Open Forum invites you to explore what it’s like to live in parallel worlds — and what makes meeting the other possible\, or difficult. \nThe evening will begin with a few warm-up speakers who will open the space by sharing different and partly polarising perspectives. From there\, the forum opens up to the room. Participants are invited to add further voices\, experiences and viewpoints as they arise. \nThis is not a classic Q&A and not a panel discussion. It’s an open forum where dialogue\, disagreement and debate are welcome\, and where perspectives can stand next to each other without needing to be resolved. \nYou don’t need to prepare anything. You don’t need to be an expert. You can speak\, listen\, argue\, stay silent or change your mind — all of it is welcome. You’re free to join at any time and leave whenever you need. Stay for the whole forum or just for a part. \nSunday\, February 1st\, 5–7 pm CET \nEeden\, Stresemannstr. 132a\, Hamburg\, Germany \nOn site and hybrid \nDare to meet.
